The patient was weaned successfully
from cardiopulmonary bypass on
dobutamine 5 mcg/kg/min and nitro-
glycerine 0.5 mcg/kg/min. She was
taken from the O.R. with a cardiac
index of 2.38, PA pressure of 50/25
and systemic pressure of 100/50.

Upon arrival in the ICU you find
her still in sinus rhythm at 95.
However, there has been no urine output
since leaving the O.R. and the
extremities are cool and pale. Chest
tube output is 125 cc since O.R.


