As soon as you enter the Grammar
School, the students break into
applause.

"You've returned our librarian!" a
small boy shouts. "We don't have to
listen to { anymore!"
*132
You lead < out of the Grammar School.
"Let's take this constellation back
to Star Gazer's Knoll!" you say.

">," Ursa Minor says to you with a
soft purr, "the fault lies not in
ourselves, but in our stars!"
*133
In the back of the library, < }
reading aloud.
*500
Orion, the Hunter, reads very loudly
and dramatically. Unfortuately, he
is reading from his favorite book,
GREAT PIGEON HUNTS OF THE LOWER
EURASIAN MESAS: A STATISTICAL SURVEY.
Of the group of students in front of
him, only one seems to be awake.
*501
Each sister is reading something
different. The effect is a loud
cacophony that is giving every
student a headache.
*502
Actually, the Cup is rapping. That
doesn't mean the Cup is singing, it
means the Cup is just banging itself
against a bookshelf so that it can be
heard. The effect is a terrible
sound.
*503
Hydra had promised to read to the
students a book 'all about monsters.'
But to the monstrous-looking Serpent
that means all the normal-looking
people in WHO'S WHO IN AMERICA. Of
the group of students in front of
Hydra, only one seems to be awake.
*504
The only story that Cygnus likes is
THE UGLY DUCKLING--and Cygnus insists
on reading it over and over and over
again. Most of the students are fast
asleep.
*505
Hercules, the Mighty Laborer, reads
wonderfully. His voice is strong and
clear. But his favorite book is THE
ODYSSEY--and he likes to read it in
the original Greek! The students
can't understand a word he is saying!
*506
Delphinus, a dolphin who can find
amusement in anything, is reading
from HAVING FUN WITH LINT. Even the
most fun-loving students in the class
can't match the frivolous nature of
Delphinus! In fact, most of the
students are so bored by lint they
are fast asleep.
*507
Pegasus whinnies and flaps his wings.
Then the horse bangs his front hoof
to the ground and neighs loudly.
Although it is a dramatic reading, it
seems a little too dramatic for
WINNIE-THE-POOH. The principal seems
upset.
*508
By the time the Dragon gets to the
third sentence of any book, his
breath has burned it to a cinder.
The students are bored silly.
*509
"To be, or not to be," the King
recites. But the king is no dramatic
reader, and every word that falls
from his royal lips is absolutely
flat and boring. Half of the
students are booing; half, asleep.
*134
"This won't do!" you say to Ursa
Minor. "Let's get this constellation
out of here!" You reach out to take
{, but the principal stops you.

"You're not taking {! At least not
until you find the real librarian!"
the principal shouts.
*136
"We better bring them their
librarian," you say.

"Well, >," Ursa Minor says, "let's
search Star Town!"
*137
As soon as you enter the library for
the second time, you are assaulted by
the snores and groans of students
forced to spend their library period
listening to { read. The principal,
unfortunately, prefers a bad
librarian to no librarian at all!

"We'd better find their librarian!"
Ursa Minor says.
*138
"Vapid Vega!" Ursa Minor yelps as you
enter the Grammar School Library for
the third time. "{ } still reading.
Let's find that librarian before we
start seeing stars!"
*139
You and Ursa Minor enter the Grammar
School's library. You see the
librarian handing out copies of
children's books. Some children are
busy reading, while others are
working on computers.

"Ah," you say to Ursa Minor, "this is
the way a library should be!"
*140
In the far corner of the Grammar
School you notice /. Do you need /?
*141
You already have the \ with you. You
must take care of what you have
before you pick up anything new.
*550
"Excuse me, gentlemen," you say to
the Quartet. "If you follow me, I
can return you to your Barber Shop."

"Hooray! Hooray! Hooray! Hooray!"
they all shout in harmony. They
squeeze into your wagon and let you
pull them out of the Grammar School.
*551
"Ah ha!" you say to Ursa. "Just what
we've been looking for!" You and Ursa
tuck the truck into your wagon and
pull it out of the Grammar School.
*552
You put the reel of film into your
wagon and wrap your arm around Ursa.
"Now, I've got stars on both sides of
me!" you say to Ursa as you leave the
Grammar School.
*553
"Excuse me, sir," you say to the
waiter. "You look rather lost. If
you follow me, I can return you to
your Restaurant."

The waiter pulls out his book of
checks and hops into your wagon.
*554
With the help of your little bear
friend, you heave the cage into your
wagon and drag the wagon out of the
Grammar School.
*555
"Excuse me, madam," you say to the
woman dressed in a business suit and
flight goggles. "If you follow me, I
can take you back to the Airport."

The controller smiles and says
"Thank you! You know, I can't even
remember what I'm doing here!" She
steps into your wagon and sits down.
*557
"Excuse me, Madam," you say to the
doctor. "If you follow me, I can
return you to all your patients at
the Hospital."

The doctor pulls her white coat about
her shoulders and sits down in your
wagon.
*558
"Excuse me, sir," you say to the
astronomer. "If you follow me, I can
return you to the Observatory."

The astronomer adjusts his glasses,
stumbles into your wagon, and
mutters, "Thank you, thank you, I
didn't think I was in the right
place."
*143
You and Ursa Minor are in the library
of the Star Town Grammar School.
There are shelves and shelves of
books, as well as a whole section
devoted to computer disks and CD-
ROMs. A group of students is
clustered in the back of the library.
*144
You and Ursa Minor walk back into the
library of the Star Town Grammar
School.
*145
"Nothing much here," you say to Ursa.
"Let's get out of here and continue
searching Star Town."
*146
You drop off the Issue of Microzine.
"Let's go rescue another
constellation," you say to Ursa, and
quickly leave the Grammar School.
